After Microsoft Office 2016 was released, Microsoft later released some updates that accidentally "broke" the integration with most document management systems, including Worldox. This wasn't Worldox's fault, and it is hard to totally blame Microsoft, as writing and upgrading software code today with thousands of environmental variables has proven to be extremely difficult. As a result of this problem, Affinity announced to you last year to please hold off on upgrading to Office 2016 until that integration piece was fixed.
We are happy to report that it is now safe to continue to upgrade Office 2016. We still advise upgrading a couple test workstations before rolling it out system-wide, but that is not new advice, and we would recommend that with any release or "green light" to run any upgrade. In other words, upgrade a couple users who you know will test functional limits. Test it for a week or two, and if you experience no bugs, roll it out system-wide.
