We are extremely PROUD to announce YOUR BOOKS™ by Affinity Consulting Group! YOUR BOOKS™ is the billing and accounting service you have been asking for. Whether you use PCLaw™, Tabs3® or Timeslips®, our experts will keep Your Books in perfect balance.
We will handle, on a monthly basis:
- Prebilling;
- Billing (hourly, flat fee, contingency, electronic, etc.);
- Monthly operating and trust bank reconciliations;
- Accounts Payable; and
- Month End Reporting and Review
The YOUR BOOKS™ team is made up of the most qualified resources, often fully certified consultants and/or former law firm administrators. Our team will ensure accurate, timely and confidential processing of your prebills, bills and critical monthly bookkeeping needs. Most importantly, the Your Books team’s oversight on your accounting database will guarantee that your books will remain in balance (ledgers, sub-ledgers and supporting reports) at all times.
Below are our sample plans; however each plan will be customized for your individual needs:
- Hourly – if you wish to work on an a la carte basis, i.e. pre-billing/billing only, bank reconciliations only, month end reporting and closing, accounts payable, etc.
- Flat fee – based on the number of bills produced, bank statements reconciled, accounts payable processed (based upon our initial review and analysis);
- Percentage of fees billed – recommended. This method includes all services described above, up to four monthly bank reconciliations (general or trust banks), monthly reporting for each, processing accounts payables, and up to 2 hours of software help and support each month! And….some of the fees may be passed on to your clients[1] as a reasonable administrative charge which makes the YOUR BOOKS™ service “pay for itself.”

Please know that there is a small start-up fee (covers user licensing and remote access) as well as a reasonable initial analysis fee to ensure that your books start with us in a state of complete balance and reconciliation. Once in balance, it is our job to keep it that way, each and every month.
