Adam’s main focus at Affinity is the automation of documents, but he also does ActionStep consulting and works on custom reports. Adam first became aware of Affinity after seeing Barron speak at a CLE event. The timing wasn’t right for a change at the time, so he practiced personal injury law for five years. Looking to get away from PI, he got a degree in physics and passed the patent bar. However, before ever practicing patent law, he started at Affinity and hasn’t looked back since.
Adam describes his superpower as “perspective.” He tries always to understand the “why” behind a request. His favorite parts of his job are working with clients on understanding their processes and how they can draft documents better.
Adam has two daughters that consume much of his time and attention. In the “before” time, Adam and his wife were—and still are—season ticket holders to the Broadway series in Cleveland. He also referees ice hockey. Adam and his wife are avid sports fans.
