Carla is a member of the Enterprise Consulting Team and bridges the gap between technology and business objectives. She works directly with Affinity’s clients and internal teams, creating and implementing solutions for complex projects. Prior to joining Affinity, Carla managed staff, projects, systems, and expectations for eight years at a small/medium sized law firm in Ohio. In her previous life, she was a teacher, working with students ranging from six months to sixty years old. She’s able to use her experience in education to assess the diverse needs of each client and advise the best way to attain their goals.
Carla’s superpower is translating the business request into technology-based results. Her favorite part about working at Affinity is helping clients achieve the “ah-ha!” moment that illuminates a solution to a complex need.
Outside of work, Carla’s hobby is adopting and abandoning hobbies. She is (or was?) a knitter, crocheter, gardener, artist, and embroiderer. She recently received a sewing machine as a gift and plans to try making her own clothes. Carla also loves to read, attend live music concerts and festivals, spend time with family, and play with her rescued dog and cats.
