Stephanie Everett is a former practicing attorney and Chief Growth Officer at Affinity Consulting Group, where she leads the Lawyerist team and works with law firms across the country on strategy, growth, and AI transformation.

Before moving into consulting, Stephanie practiced at a BigLaw firm and then co-founded her own litigation practice, scaling it from two attorneys to a team of twenty in under seven years. That firsthand experience as a managing partner shapes everything she does—she understands law firm economics, team dynamics, and the decisions that define whether a firm thrives or stalls.

Stephanie is a nationally recognized speaker who delivers keynotes, CLE workshops, and strategic sessions for state bar associations and legal conferences across the country. Her work spans firm strategy, business models, AI adoption, and leadership development and she brings the same practitioner-level directness to the stage that she brings to client engagements.

She is the co-creator of Next Level Leader, a leadership development program built specifically for lawyers and legal professionals ready to grow from skilled practitioner to confident firm leader. The program combines a cohort-based curriculum and the companion book Be a Next Level Leader, co-authored with Debbie Foster, to give firm leaders a practical path for building the skills their firms depend on.

Stephanie is also the co-author of The Small Firm Roadmap Revisited, host of The Lawyerist Podcast, a 2020 ABA Women of Legal Tech honoree, and a member of the Fastcase 50.

Personal Details

Stephanie is married with a teenager, and proudly wears the title of soccer mom (seriously—she loves it). When she’s not cheering from the sidelines or watching Atlanta United, she’s planning her next trip (as long as it doesn’t involve an RV). She believes fun, family, and good food are key ingredients in any success story.
