If you know you want to automate your templates, but you aren’t sure which software is right for you, we can help. From Word mail merging and fillable forms to complex automation using software specifically designed for document automation, we’ll walk you through it all and help you decide on what will work best for you. Software selection assistance typically takes several hours, depending on the number of programs we demo.
Microsoft Word Training
We strongly recommend, for anyone interested in learning to automate documents themselves, that you first build a strong foundation of Microsoft Word formatting skills. Many of the frustrations experienced by novices to document automation can be solved by leveraging the power of Microsoft Word. We offer legal document automation specific training in Microsoft Word to teach you the essential skills. Depending on your skill level and the complexity of the formatting in your documents, legal document automation specific Microsoft Word training typically takes 1 – 8 hours.
Automation 101
Learn which tools are in your toolbox and how to use them. Before you can efficiently start coding your own templates, it is critical to learn what is available to you. In Automation 101, we tackle all of the things you must know before you can start building your own automated templates. Automation 101 includes software settings, template management, answer file management, the types of questions available, lists, conditional logic, and frequently used calculations. Automation 101 typically takes 4 – 8 hours.
Automate Your Templates
After you have learned the essential skills for document automation, get as much or little help as you need with tackling your own templates. Engage us for assistance when you get stuck or have us walk you through your first template. If you encounter an issue that wasn’t covered in Automation 101, we will walk you through the best way to handle it. If there’s ever an issue that’s more complex than you’d like to handle yourself, we can do some of the heavy lifting for you. We offer training on an as-needed basis, and we have monthly subscription options that enable you to receive regularly scheduled training to help you keep the ball rolling.
